One of the central activities of BalticStudyNet is compiling a textbook
containing basic knowledge about the Baltic Sea Region for students and
young researchers from non-European countries. It shall include main
sections on history, politics, culture and regional economy; and also
serve as study guide for third country students and scholars. Currently,
the international editorial board and group of authors are finishing the
manuscript. The textbook titled ‘EUROPE plus. The Baltic Sea Region’ is
scheduled to be published in 2010.
