Berlin's old City
Our tourist guide shows you the old and the new in the historic center. You
discover Berlin Squares ('Plätze') like Gendarmen Market, Hausvogteiplatz or
Schlossplatz (Castle Square). You see the representative boulevard "Unter
den Linden" and gaze at the Hohenzollerns' constructions in admiration. The
Arsenal, Berlin's biggest baroque building that had been preserved and its
modern extension by the architect Ioeh Ming Pei count among the highlights
of this tour. Your walk ends at the Pleasure Garden ('Lustgarten') in front
of Berlin Cathedral, both on Museum Island that is known as an unique
cultural landscape.
