General Information
The 11th International Workshop on Bioinformatics and Systems Biology (IBSB) will take place 17 – 20 July 2011 in Berlin, Germany. It is part of a collaborative educational program involving several leading research institutes: Boston University, Charité – Universitätsmedizin, Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin, Kyoto University and the University of Tokyo. This student-focused event has been held annually since 2001 to provide doctoral students and young researchers with opportunities to present and discuss their research objectives, approaches and results in the emerging field of genomics, systems biology and bioinformatics.
Instructions for Oral Presentations
Talks are scheduled for 30 minutes including discussion time. The seminar room will be equipped with a data projector, a screen and a computer. Speakers can use their own computers if desired.
Instructions for Poster Presentations
Posters can have a maximum size of A0. Pushpins will be available for your use. Posters must be attached to the poster boards on Monday, 18 July, after the afternoon talks. Boards will be numbered in the upper left corner. Your will find your poster number in the abstract book. Due to logistic reasons all posters must be taken down right after the poster session on the same day.
