Fifth Hiddensee Workshop

"Dynamics and Evolution of Cellular Processes"

March 25-28, 2006, Hiddensee, Germany

After nine years of fruitful and successful work ends our Graduate Program in March 2006. In our closing workshop on the Hiddensee island, doctorands of our program will report on advances in their research work during the last year. Former members of the graduate program and other guests will join us at this meeting.

Overview

The Graduate Program "Dynamics and Evolution of Cellular and Macromolecular Processes"  offers exceptionally qualified students the opportunity to pursue doctoral research in an interdisciplinary atmosphere, with strong links between experimental and theoretical biologists.

To our  program belong  seventeen  experimental and theoretical research groups  from the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Free University, the Max Delbruck Center for Molecular Medicine, the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics and the Hahn-Meitner Institute

The actual research projects  focus on  the dynamics of cellular reactions and transport processes, the dynamics and function of macromolecular structures and the study of genetic, regulatory and sensory networks.
