Information regarding searches in the Research Data Base
Simple Search
- The simple search function searches for a single search term in all areas of the Research Data Base (name, title, financial source, subject search…)
- Search results will only include multiple search terms if these terms are found in at least one search area (AND-Connection). In order to use an OR-Connection you will need to connect the search terms with "OR".
Search in Areas
- The connection between search areas is an AND-Connection, which means e.g. that if you enter the word "science" in the boxes "Project Title" and "Abstract" the search box will only display results for projects which have the word "science" in both Project Title and Abstract.
For an OR-Connection you need to explicitly choose "Join search areas with or".
Advanced Search
- It is possible to conduct a combinational search which reaches over multiple search areas.
- Multiple entries within a search area need to be separated with a space character.

- Information regarding project duration time:
Project duration times from 2003-2003 indicate that the project ended after 2003 and started before 2006. If you enter 2006 in the "from" box and leave the "to" box empty you will find all current projects.
