is surrounded by many seas, but there is only one sea entirely surrounded
by Europe - the Baltic Sea. Students worldwide who wish to learn
more about the history, politics, economy and culture of this MARE
EUROPAEUM ("Europe's Sea") are invited to participate
in an international summer school in Baltic Sea Region Studies hosted
by the universities of Copenhagen (Denmark), Turku (Finland), and
Berlin (Germany) during two weeks in July and August 2006.
