Hotel Mount Everest

Darjeeling IX. 26, 1931

My dear friend and colleague,

on my sexological world tour, I have already reached the Himalayas. It was not really my intention to come here, but in Calcutta there was such an inhuman heat that I very quickly fled here - although only for one week, because starting on Monday, Nov. 28, '31, I already have to give another four "Lectures". I now mostly speak English, and, since I have written down my lectures, I goes rather well.

Perhaps you are interested in the topics:

1. Introduction in (sic!) Sexology - a new and important science

2. Love, Sex and Marriage

3. The Trinity of psyche, body and sex

4. Is Homosexuality inborn or acquired?

Very often I cite your name. Recently, between Singapore and Colombo (Ceylon) I gave my 100th lecture of this trip around the world, among others, 35 times at Chinese universities with very great success and a rather good income, so that at least the trip does not cost me anything.

From Hong Kong I went via Manila (3 lectures) to Bali and Java (20 lectures). In spite of the occasionally very enormous tropical heat I survived, all in all, quite well.

And you? Have you gone to our beloved Berlin again, which I often miss so much? However, the sad conditions in Germany temper my longing not insignificantly.

Could you talk once more with the American company Keddick (or something similar) about what they think of a lecture tour in the States in English with good slides? Also with G. Viereck?

I will now travel in Northern India, which is apparantly in a state of enormous political excitement (the English are already dismantling to a considerable degree). At the end of Oct. I will travel to Cairo and Jerusalem. German Consulate, rue des Prophets until Nov. 10 or to Berlin, where I hope to be on XII, 15. Everything good and beautiful for you, Viereck and the two dear Gretchen, also your sister and brother-in-law. Always your friend
