October 1998: Visit by an American Student Group

      On October 14, a group of American students paid a research visit to our Archive. They were participants in an academic program on "Sexuality, Gender & Identity" at the School for International Training in Amsterdam. Under the guidance of Virginia Fleck, the Director of Academic Studies Abroad, they were touring a number of sexological institutions and organizations in Europe.

 The students were first given an introduction to the work of our Archive and then explored our library resources on their own. Some of them also became acquainted with our website as a primary gateway to sexological information. All of them expressed their interest in using it for their further studies, which ranged from psychology and sociology to cultural and art history.
