Klaus Corcilius cooperates in the project "Tranformations of Mind. Philosophica Psychology from 1500-1700." he is an assistant lecturer at the "Lehrstuhl" for ancient philosophy at Humboldt University, Berlin. He studied philosophy and Classical Greek Studies in Hamburg and Dublin. In 2006, he completet his dissertation (tutor: Prof. Rapp) about Aristotle's theory of motivation.

His historical interests are in acient philosophy, particularly in Aristotle and the aristotelean tradition. He has mostly worked about the theroy of action, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of nature.
