Collection of Microfilms of Old Tibetan Handscripts
The Central Asian Seminar owns a collection that is unique in Germany. It is open to students as well as visting academics.
The collection covers all current manuscripts from Durhang, which are kept at the British Library in London (India Office and Oriental Collections, Collection Stein) and the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris (Sammlung Pelliot).
The Seminar strives for the further development of the collection.
