online catalogue of the media library (in German only)
The library includes video documentations, travel reports and movies from and about the region (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Tibet, Mongolia). Materials from and about Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Russia and the Caucasus may be included too. The documents from the library can be used for study proposals and courses. The online catalogue of the media library gives an overview of the character of the collection. Further information gives the secretary.
Student working groups established through own initiative:
Tschiltan - Music from Central Asia
The working group "Tschiltan - Music from Central Asia" studies vocal and instrumental music from Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and gives a contribution of popular and traditional music for partys and other events.
