Short Vita

I am a researcher at the Institute of Media and Communication Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. My research interests lies in the the conditions and consequences of political and intergroup communication. In my research, I usually combine at least two of the following four concepts: (1) communicative behavior (particularly interpersonal communication and media repertoires), (2) social identities, (3) political attitudes, and (4) pro-social behavior. I work predominantly in the contexts of economic inequality, political polarization, and racism.
