Short Vita

I am Professor and chair of Developmental Psychology at Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. I am also a Research Fellow at the Socio-Economic Panel, one of the longest-running national surveys worldwide. I have the privilege to serve as one of the editors of the journal Gerontology. I also very much enjoy being the spokesperson of the interdisciplinary, multi-institutional Berlin Aging Study-II consortium. In my research, I focus on questions about the individuality of age(ing) and how age and ageing have changed over the course of time.
