Short Vita

I specialize in peace and conflict research, combining both foundational and applied perspectives. My work integrates insights from psychology and political science, focusing on interventions to improve intergroup relations. Beyond my research, I actively engage in science communication, including appearances as an expert on the ARTE documentary “Does History Repeat Itself?”. I also organize events and panel discussions to connect academic and public audiences on topics of peace and conflict. Currently, I serve as the president of the German Peace Psychology Association and am the co-editor of the recently published open-access Handbook of Peace Psychology.
