Liebe Freunde der Stiftung Genshagen,

für das Projekt "Europamobil", das vom 15. September bis zum 10. Oktober
2009 stattfindet, suchen wir noch Teilnehmer aus verschiedenen
europäischen Ländern.
Es richtet sich an Studierende der Europastudien aus sieben
EU-Mitgliedstaaten (Deutschland, Großbritannien, Belgien, Dänemark,
Frankreich, Polen und Spanien), die mit einem Bus Schulen in Brandenburg
besuchen und Workshops, Seminareinheiten, Planspiele und
Sprachanimationen zu europäischen Themen durchführen werden. Das Ziel
ist es, dass Schüler und Studierende zusammen über die europäische
Integration und den europäischen Dialog nachdenken.

Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn Sie diese Mail (Info auf Englisch in
der Folge) an potenziell Interessierte weiterleiten könnten.

The Genshagen Foundation, located close to Berlin, is looking for
participants for its international project /Europamobil. / /Europamobil/
is a mobile project promoting European diversity and mobility to pupils.
In order to do this,
twenty students from different European countries (Great Britain,
Poland, Denmark, France, Spain, Belgium and Germany) travel with a bus,
the /Europamobil/, and visit schools in the region of
Brandenburg/Germany. In each school they organise workshops and seminars
for pupils about certain European issues.

The students develop the programme themselves during a preparatory week
of seminars prior to the travel. During the whole project period
assistance of two professional instructors is provided.
The instructors act as seminar leaders and coaches, since they are
experts in the field of pedagogical training as well as European
integration. In case of need students can get additional help from them,
since they also supervise students’ actions at schools. The results of
the project are going to be evaluated and presented to the public during
a closing conference.

Participants can gain practical experience in an international project
environment and enrich their knowledge about issues related to European
integration process.
The one-week preparatory seminar includes training units about project
management and pedagogical methods.
Depending on the university, the participation may be recognised as an
internship or an ECTS equivalent.

The project starts on the 15^th of September 2009 and ends on the 10^th
of October 2009. During the whole project period the participants stay
at the Genshagen Castle close to Berlin. Very good command of English
language is required. All costs of participation are covered.

The project is organised by the Genshagen Foundation in Germany and
financed by the Robert Bosch Foundation.
