The official opening of the ecoFABULAnds project (Agroecology Partnership, co-funded by the European Union) will be held on Monday, 14th July 2025. Led by the Multifunctional Landscapes Research Group at IRI THESys, this event marks the beginning of a Europe-wide initiative to co-create future-proof, biodiverse, and sustainable landscapes through community-driven agroecological transformation.

About ecoFABULAnds

ecoFABULAnds responds to the pressing need for transformative change in European agriculture and landscapes. Coordinated by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the project brings together actors from research, policy, and civil society to reshape food systems across five Living Labs—in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Hungary, and Cyprus. Through circular economy principles, knowledge co-production, and multi-level governance, the project aims to identify, test, and scale agroecological innovations for resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agri-food systems.
