An Ethnographic Inventory<\/a><\/em>; <a href=\"https:\/\/colleex.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Colleex<\/em> (Collaboratory for Ethnographic Experimentation, an EASA network)<\/a>; the <em>Digital Curatorial Collective <\/em>of the Society for Cultural Anthropology; and, more recently,\u00a0the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/umbrology.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Department of Umbrology<\/a><\/em>, a fictional division of multimodal ethnographic study and artistic intervention on urban habitability in times of climate mutation, foregrounding the affordances of shades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on these matters he has co-edited&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/An-Ethnographic-Inventory-Field-Devices-for-Anthropological-Inquiry\/Criado-Estalella\/p\/book\/9781032124391\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">An Ethnographic Inventory: Field Devices for Anthropological Inquiries<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;(Routledge, 2023) and&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.berghahnbooks.com\/title\/SanchezCriadoExperimental\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Experimental Collaborations: Ethnography through Fieldwork Devices<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;(Berghahn, 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tom\u00e1s is interested in exploring inventive forms of collaborative inquiry where multimodality could be understood not just or not only as \u2018in a plurality of media\u2019 but rather in a plurality of relational and epistemic modes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>contact: tomcriado AT uoc.edu www.tscriado.org @tscriado Ram\u00f3n y Cajal Senior Research Fellow at the Open University of Catalonia\u2019s CareNet group.
