Due to short-notice changes in the schedule of the seminar, I will give a blackboard talk tomorrow about an attempt to generalize an identity, which is useful for the extraction of UV divergences in dimensional regulated Feynman integrals. Thereby, I will show that the task can be reformulated to finding the Fourier transform of powers of logarithms, which was recently declared “problem of the week”. I will present a strategy to determine them but unfortunately, I will demonstrate why the result is unsatisfying.
