conformal field theory, AdS\/CFT, integrability &amp; superstrings in AdS backgrounds; super Yang-Mills theory; \u00a0aspects of phenomenology connecting to gravity and conformal symmetry; super membranes and matrix models.<\/p>\n<h3>Four personal questions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>When I was 18 I wanted to &#8230;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8230;actually become a theoretical physicist.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A perfect working day starts with&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/strong>&#8230;
