On 3 October 2021, Max Walther, Tom Sojer and Martina Bengert from the Simone Weil denkkollektiv held an open performance lecture as part of the Austrian art festival \u201cSteirischer Herbst<\/a>\u201d. The performance took place in the immediate vicinity of Thomas Hirschhorn\u2019s \u201cSimone Weil Memorial<\/a>\u201d on Esperantoplatz in Graz. The performance was entitled \u201cSimone Weil [\u2026] not too academic\u201d and comprised a trialogue about Weil\u2019s thinking, actions and work. We were particularly pleased about the subsequent discussion with the audience and passers-by, among which there were people who perhaps came into contact with Simone Weil for the first time that day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
