Over the last years, Emmanuel Gabellieri\u2019s \u2018Simone Weil Seminars\u2019 have become an important meeting and melting point of current international Simone Weil scholarship. Now the seminar comes to Sweden for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The denkkollektiv will participate in this event with a contribution on the letters written by Simone and Andr\u00e9 Weil while Andr\u00e9 was\u00a0in prison in 1940. Intrigued by Weil\u2018s concept of metaxy, Martina, Max, and Tom will approach the letters from three individual yet symbiotic angles: \u201cMetaxy I: Darkness, Emptiness, Kenosis. Simone Weil and Zen\u201c (Martina), \u201cMetaxy II: When corpora turn diaphanous. Bible, Simone Weil and the Jewish people\u201c (Tom), \u201eMetaxy III: Bodies in prison.
