Im Forschungsprojekt Stadtentwicklung durch Public-Civic-Partnerships: Zusammenarbeit, Kontroversen, Modellierungen forschen wir in und mit den beiden Modellprojekten Haus der Statistik und Rathausblock Kreuzberg in Berlin. Dafür entwickeln wir zwei spezifisch auf die untersuchten Modellprojekte zugeschnittene Forschungs-Instrumente: Ein Modellprojektarchiv am Rathausblock und eine Zauderbude am Haus der Statistik.
Die Zauderbude lädt Akteur*innen aus Politik, Verwaltung und Zivilgesellschaft dazu ein, das tägliche Geschäft der Kooperation zu verlassen und vor dem nächsten erforderlichen Schritt einen Moment des (noch) nicht Handelns zu wagen.
Dieses Zaudern ist weder Handeln noch Nicht-Handeln; es markiert stattdessen einen Ort, an dem sich die Komponenten, die Bedingungen und Implikationen des Handelns versammeln, an dem sich also die Tat nicht in ihrem Vollzug, sondern in ihrem Anheben artikuliert.

Zauderbude opened! [EN]
Opening of the scenographic fieldwork device for cooperative urban development at the KO-Markt of the Haus der Statistik on May 14, 2022. (Otto-Braun-Straße 70-72, 10178 Berlin)
In the research project “Urban Development through Public-Civic Partnerships: Collaboration, Controversies, Modeling”, we conduct research in and with the two model projects Haus der Statistik and Rathausblock Kreuzberg in Berlin. For this purpose, we are developing two research devices specifically tailored to the model projects under study: a model project archive at the Rathausblock and a Zauderbude (eng: “dithering booth”) at the Haus der Statistik.
The Zauderbude invites actors from politics, administration, and civil society to leave the daily business of cooperation and to dare a moment of not (yet) acting before the next necessary step.
This dithering is neither action nor non-action; instead, it marks a place where the components, conditions, and implications of action gather, where, in other words, the act is articulated not in its consummation but in its raising.
