Within the scientific focus of the event are fundamental questions related to the mathematical and numerical modelling of such systems, ranging from core technical infrastructure, to nanomaterials, to biological organizations. In addition, strategies for establishing efficient, inclusive, and sustainable scientific frameworks and networks will be discussed in the context of career development and scientific dissemination.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>WINS Summer School 2023 takes place in Blossin, an idyllic educational resort in the outskirts of Berlin. The program starts on Friday, June 2 at 13:00 h, and ends on Monday, June 5, around noon. It comprises scientific talks and seminars, coaching, discussions, and networking activities. Participants are given the opportunity to present their own research in a friendly and informal atmosphere.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The target group are&nbsp;female scientists&nbsp;from the fields of&nbsp;mathematical, natural, and material sciences from the 4<sup>th<\/sup>semester of studies to the junior group leader stage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Participation is free of charge: all local costs, including accommodation for 3 nights, food and non-alcoholic beverages, are taken over by the organization.
