Prof. Dr. Rita Faria
Rita is assistant Professor in Criminology at the Faculty of Law - University of Porto (FDUP). She holds a BA in Law, 2 years of internship as junior lawyer and then followed to research crime and deviance at FDUP. She started with an MA in Sociology in research misconduct in Portugal and progressed to do a PhD in Criminology about research misconduct and social control in Europe. Rita is a Principal Investigator in this project.
Dr. Marilena Drymioti
Marilena holds a Postdoctoral Scholarship from the CIJ - Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice at the University of Porto. She has an LLB in Law from the University of Sheffield (UK), an MA in Global Criminology from Utrecht University (NL), and a PhD in Criminology from Erasmus University Rotterdam (NL). Her expertise and work are situated within the critical and cultural schools of criminology.
Luísa Barcelos
Luísa is a Junior Researcher at the CIJ - Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Justice, at the Faculty of Law, University of Porto. She holds a BA in Criminology and is currently pursuing a Master’s in the same field at the University of Porto. Her main research interests include transnational security issues, particularly extremism and cybercrime.
