Four student research assistant positions are available in the CitizenScience project “Urbanität & Vielfalt” (fixed-term until 10/2022, 40 h/week). Successful applicants will help in the organization and management of events and field trips with scientists and citizens, the maintenance of plant cultures for regional conservation efforts, and assist in the preparation of project-related newsletters and information material.

Requirements are fluent German and English in reading and writing. Applicants should be enrolled in a study program focusing on (organismal) biology or ecology. Basic knowledge of plants and/or proficiency in common office software, incl. website editors (e.g. WordPress), are an advantage.

We invite applications for a position as student research assistant (2-years position at 40 hours/month). The successful applicant will help with experiments in our parasitic plant projects and/or contribute to literature research. The successful applicant should take up work in the group in January, 2021.

Requirements:

– Fluent English and German in speaking and writing; knowledge of French is an advantage
– Enrollment in a biology-centered study program, preferred specialization in plant biology/botany
– Excellent skills with common office software programs
