The "Stadtlabor for Multimodal Anthropology" aims at developing ‘an anthropology of/as urbanism’. It critically explores governmental, everyday, insurgent and more-than-human practices of city making. It also experiments with ethnography as a more-than-textual, multimodal practice.

Isabel Ordóñez

Short bio

Researcher and sustainable design professor at Elisava, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.

Industrial designer by the University of Chile, she specialized with a master’s degree and a PhD in Sustainable Design at Chalmers University in Sweden. As a designer she has worked mainly with furniture, but in teaching and research she has worked on various projects related to sustainability, focusing mainly on issues of resource recovery from waste.

She is currently a researcher for the department of Circular Economy and Recycling Technologies at TU Berlin.
