PhD Project: Remembering Future Disasters: Climate Change, Memory and Anticipation in Ancash, Peru

Abstract : My project deals with practices of memory and anticipation amid climatic and seismic disasters in the Peruvian Andes. With his research I aim to understand how different actors remember and anticipate extreme events and the consequences that those diverse practices have for the creation of past and future temporalities in urban environments.
