- Het Texel-bevruchtingsstation bevindt zich in het reservaat voor de Zwarte bij op Texel. De verscheidenheid aan darrenlijnen is bijzonder groot, dezen zijn niet geregistreerd en de mate van hun selectieachtergrond varieert sterk. Op Texel wordt echter niet behandeld tegen Varroa.
