Teaching

Lectures, seminars and laboratory courses in microbiology, bacterial genetics and infection biology for Bachelor’s and Master’s students of the Institute of Biology.

Marc Erhardt teaches general microbiology, bacterial genetics and infection biology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The courses range from the introductory lecture for first-semester students to research-oriented laboratory courses and seminars at the Master’s level. In the laboratory courses, students develop their own experimental approach to a question from current research; in the seminars, they present and defend controversial topics of microbial cell biology and infection biology. Since 2022 he has been an instructor of the Advanced Bacterial Genetics course at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
