BRAGA, June 22, 2026 — The University of Minho recently welcomed AI2PI's Co-Principal Investigator, Dr. Michael Schlauch for an in-person working visit within the AI2PI – Teacher Academy project.
The visit provided an opportunity to review the progress of ongoing activities, discuss priorities for the coming months, and further strengthen collaboration between project partners. Particular attention was given to the development of the project’s digital community and communication activities, as well as the alignment of tasks related to the creation of sustainable spaces for teacher engagement and knowledge sharing.
During the week, the team also explored existing educational platforms and communities, including practical testing of eTwinning functionalities. These activities allowed participants to reflect on both the opportunities and limitations of current digital environments for supporting collaboration, participation, and the exchange of practices among teachers.
The discussions contributed to a shared understanding of the next stages of the project and helped identify priorities for future development. The meeting also included initial planning for upcoming consortium activities, including preparations for the next AI2PI Spring Meeting, expected to take place in Portugal.
Face-to-face meetings remain an important opportunity for partners to exchange perspectives, strengthen cooperation, and ensure a common vision for the project’s objectives. The University of Minho looks forward to continuing its contribution to the development of AI2PI and to supporting the creation of meaningful opportunities for teachers to engage with Artificial Intelligence in education.
