On 16 December, project members Judith Albrecht, Ignacio Farias, and Andrew Gilbert were invited to present the kit to our colleagues at the Winter Seminar of the HU Berlin’s Institute for European Ethnology “IfEE, transversally. Thinking the para-institute” where our research took place.
We had probing and challenging questions about the dangers of over-aestheticizing ethnographic research, how to anticipate multiple communities of evaluation (academic and non-academic), and how to activate the kit in teaching contexts. And as with our last presentation, we heard that copies of the kit had already begun to find their way to new users, this time in Chile!
