In this talk, we will try to understand reasons behind the shared hate among theoretical physicists toward the Loop Quantum Gravity programme. We will begin by reviewing the difficulties arising when trying to quantise gravity before briefly presenting the quantisation proposed by LQG. We will finish the talk with a review of different problems and a critical discussion of LQG’s success and failure.
