We are excited to welcome Dr. Mirah Gary, Technical Lead for the RabbitMQ project at Broadcom. In this informal morning session, Mirah will share her career journey, from studying string theory and quantum gravity at UC Berkeley and UC Santa Barbara, through her postdoctoral work and independent research at TU Wien, to her transition from academia into the tech industry. She will discuss opportunities, challenges, and lessons learned along the way. The session is designed to create an open and relaxed space for early-career researchers and students to ask questions, explore career paths, and exchange ideas.
