gravitational waves, connection to perturbative quantum field theory,
scattering amplitudes, effective field theory, and higher-spin fields;
gravitational spin effects, tidal effects, black holes, neutron
stars, and waveform modeling.
Four personal questions
- When I was 18 I wanted to…
…learn about the fundamental laws of nature - A perfect working day starts with…
…a challenging calculation with pen and paper - Before I am going to retire I would like to…
…understand quantum field theory - My advise to my students is…
…don’t be afraid to make mistakes and stay true to your ideals.
