Abstract: In hadron spectroscopy in lattice QCD, an accurate determination of the low-lying finite-volume energy levels of the system of interest is essential. For that one needs a diverse basis of operators that create the desired state. I will show how we can construct such operators using the Tcc tetraquark as an example. For that, I will start in the infinite-volume continuum where we have the full rotational symmetry, and thus we have the usual angular momentum irreps. But then I will switch to the lattice where this symmetry is broken. There, I will show how we can combine the irreps of the lattice rotations with spin to construct operators in the desired irreps.
