We are very excited to welcome Dr. Allison Pinto, a physicist turned science manager with a passion for science communication. After completing her PhD in theoretical physics, during which she explored mathematical structures underlying quantum mechanics and cosmology, she transitioned into science coordination and leadership. She served as coordinator of the RTG 2575 as well as the Kolleg Mathematik Physik Berlin and is now the head of administration of the Institute of Physics at HU Berlin. Outside of the office, she has worked on bringing theoretical physics research topics to broader audiences on TikTok, Instagram, and on the YouTube channel, Non-Standard Models.
