This week’s Student seminar will be given by Moritz Kade, giving an overview of the six vertex model

Abstract:

“This talk should introduce the statistical six vertex model. After explaining the general setup with different boundary conditions, I focus on the models integrability on the example of the free energy in the thermodynamic limit. I’ll conclude with some remarks and speculations of its connection to fishnet CFT and bosonic strings.”

As usual, the zoom link will be circulated the morning of, and the seminar will be given in room 1.221
