Usual quantum field theories take place in an infinite space but there are many examples where this idealization is not possible or not even realistic. Lattice simulations are one of these examples, so one needs a consistent description of finite volume quantum field theory to correctly understand lattice results.
This talk will give an introductory presentation of finite volume QFT and all its differences from infinite volume one then it will focus on hardon mass corrections in finite volume QED+QCD with C* boundary conditions.
