Abstract: Motivated by M-theory and the geometric engineering of gauge theories, I will provide a brief introduction to equivariant quantum geometry in the language of gauged linear sigma models i.e. hamiltonian Floer theory. If time allows, I will discuss aspects of (open-)closed mirror symmetry for toric geometries.
