In the first part of this blackboard talk I will give an introduction to supersymmetric quantum mechanics making emphasis on the worldline formalism. In the second part I will discuss how to construct field theories starting from first quantised worldlines, based on methods used in string field theory (SFT). At the end of the talk I will construct Maxwell’s theory employing the SFT inspired methods on a supersymmetric worldline.
