Abstract: The formalism of quantum field theories enables us to make precise predictions of observables in e.g. particle or gravitational wave physics by computing higher and higher orders in perturbation theory. Beyond leading order, these computations involve a certain type of integrals, known as Feynman integrals. Therefore, the knowledge of Feynman integrals and their properties plays an important role in high precision calculations in QFT. In my talk, I will give an overview of Feynman integrals, their different integral representations and some of their properties such as integration by parts (IBP) and dimensional shift relations.
