Our third hiring round has been completed with the hiring of two new doctoral researchers, Alessandro Cotellucci (U Bologna) and Moritz Kade (TU Munich). We warmly welcome them to the RTG and wish a successful and enjoyable time at Humboldt University.

The Research Training Group 2575 “Rethinking Quantum Field Theory” invites applications for several doctoral positions in theoretical physics, starting March 1st 2021. The application deadline is January 1st 2021. Details about the application process can be found here.
A kick-off hike for our new RTG members took place on Monday Oct 26th. Despite the drizzle at the beginning and COVID-19 protective measures the easy walk in the Dahlemer Feld was an enjoyable opportunity to meet and talk to fellow doctoral students and PIs.

We were able to successfully complete the second hiring round in July. By now the RTG comprises 15 doctoral researchers and 2 postdoctoral researchers. A warm welcome to all new members!
The first QFT colloquium within the RTG qualification program took place on May 29th. We are glad Giulia Zanderighi from the Max Planck Institut München accepted our invitation and agreed to talk on Precision at the LHC: why and how.
