The lab warmly (though somewhat belatedly) congratulates (soon-to-be-Dr.) Britta Acksel on finishing, submitting and defending her PhD thesis last summer.
The title of her thesis is: “Wie wandeln?” Kulturanthropologische Einblicke in den Werkzeugkasten gegenwärtiger Nachhaltigkeitsbemühungen (Opening the toolbox… cultural anthropological insights into current sustainability efforts). She was supervised by Gisale Welz (Frankfurt) and Jörg Niewöhner (Berlin).
Britta is currently working at the Wuppertal Institut on methods of transformation research as part of the working group on research coordination and strategy development.
