On Monday, 04/06 (10:15, room 107a) Heta Tarkkala will give her presentation “Reorganizing Biomedical Research: Biobanks as Conditions of Possibility for Personalized Medicine”.

She currently works at the Department of Social Sciences, University of Eastern Finland and is also a doctoral student at the Department of Social Research, University of Helsinki. Heta Tarkkala does research in sociology and science and technology studies (STS). She currently works on the project ‘Personalized health services and flexible appropriation of bioinformation (GoHe)’ and is finalizing her PHD.
