Current and associated members of the lab are organizing several panels at EASST/4S 2024 in Amsterdam. If you would like to get involved, the Call for Papers is open until February 12th.

Dennis Eckhardt (FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg) and Libuše Hannah Vepřek (University of Tübingen) are convening a panel on “ Developing Co-Laborative Methods for Digital Transformations”
This panel explores co-laborations between STS scholars and computer scientists, practitioners, and engineers at the forefront of digital change. It focuses on new modes of integrating STS sensibilities with solution-oriented methods to shape digital transformation through mutual learning.

Britta Acksel (Wuppertal Institute), Catharina Lüder (Technische Universität Berlin) and Anja Klein (Humboldt-Universität Berlin) are convening a Panel on methods in sustainability research: “The right tools for sustainability research? Perspectives on transforming and transformative methods” with Joerg Niewoehner (Technical University of Munich)as discussant.
Sustainability research is increasingly expected to contribute to transformations. How (focusing on research methods) is this being done, how is research transformed on the way, and which futures are enacted/foreclosed? We want to explore STS-contributions to sustainability transformations.
Both panels are Combined Format Open Panels with more-than-presentations.
