Update: The program for our upcoming workshop ‘Impulses for a public and engaged environmental anthropology. Concepts, perspectives, and politics’ is ready!
We are really looking forward to fabulous conceptual inputs on subjects like infrastructure, water, and city, and on concepts like ‘more-than-human urban imaginaries’, ‘multispecies commons’, ‘eco grief’, new wilderness’, ‘posthuman’, and many more, two days of intense work on these and other concepts, while developing together formats and techniques for public & engaged environmental anthropology.
A special highlight of the workshop is the public screening of the film ‘Beekeeping in the End Times’, by the visual anthropologists and film makers Larisa Jašarević and Azra Jašarević – together, we will mobilize film as a possible format for public and engaged environmental anthropology!
For the complete call please see here!
Workshop registration is open until 1 September 2026 via Eventbrite.
