How to apply for Franco-German Parliamentary Internship in Paris

Are you interested in gaining insights into the French parliamentary system and complete an internship with a member of the Assemblée Nationale? On this page you will find all relevant information for the application process.

To participate in the Franco-German Parliamentary Internship, you must:

  • have German citizenship, dual citizenship is permitted,
  • have completed a Bachelor‘s degree (or equivalent) no more than four years old by the start of the program,
  • demonstrate very good knowledge of the French language (minimum B2 level), e.g. through DELF/DALF certificates, study degrees from France or a language certificate,
  • and have a great interest in French politics.

We have published the call for applications for the 2026/2027 program. Please apply by 12 March 2026.

On Monday, February 16, at 5:00 p.m., we will be holding an online meeting for interested applicants, where we will present the program, provide useful tips on applying, and, of course, answer your questions. The meeting will take place in German. Please register via Zoom.

How to submit your application:

  1. Register on our MoveOn application portal.
  2. Fill out the application form on MoveOn and upload all required documents.
  3. Mark each page as complete.
  4. Check your application and submit it.
  5. After the application deadline, you will receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail and we will inform you about the further procedure.

The application phase for the 2026/2027 program year has ended. You can apply for the 2027/2028 program year from December 2026/January 2027. We will announce the exact dates here.
