For university partners and international program coordinators: We welcome inquiries from universities interested in developing a cohort-based internship program!

The Humboldt Internship Program also offers a cohort-based format for universities wishing to send groups of students to Berlin. Designed for advanced undergraduate and graduate cohorts, this option combines 12-week internships in research projects at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin or in Berlin’s start-up ecosystem with structured academic and cultural components. Cohort programs may include a 2-week orientation course, weekly German language classes, and housing options. Enrollment at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin grants students full access to university services and public transport. Program elements can be customized to align with institutional goals, academic calendars, and disciplinary focus. Program fees apply and vary depending on selected components and the structure of the cohort program.
University staff interested in developing a tailored cohort program are warmly invited to get in touch with us to discuss options and program design in detail.
