Interested students have the opportunity to gain insights into university start-ups and the diversity of the Berlin start-up scene. Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin offers its students a career path of starting a business and has therefore established its own Start-Up Service. The start-ups at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin operate at the interface between science and business. The teams supported by the Start-Up Service of Humboldt Innovation are in the initial phase of setting up a company. In addition to the subject-specific tasks, interns have the opportunity to experience how a scientific idea is turned into a marketable company: From product development to the creation of the business model to the preparation of the business plan. In the course of the internship, student interns have the opportunity to participate in events that serve to network the founders within and outside the university.
